Meet the Teachers and Staff Who Make TBOP Exceptional
Our team of dedicated educators combines deep experience, specialized training, and genuine care—creating a place where every child feels supported and known.

Exceptional Qualifications, Lasting Commitment
At Temple Beth Or Preschool, our teachers are the heart of what makes us special. Nearly all lead teachers hold college degrees in Early Childhood Education or related fields and meet North Carolina’s rigorous Early Educator Certification standards. Ongoing professional development is part of our culture—our staff regularly attends workshops through Project Enlightenment, NCAEYC conferences, and more to stay at the forefront of best practices. This commitment means your child’s teachers are equipped with both expertise and the latest insights in early learning.
Stability That Builds Trust
Families at TBOP see the same caring faces year after year. Many of our teachers have spent a decade or more with us, creating rare continuity and deep relationships with children and families alike. Low turnover means children are greeted each morning by trusted adults who know their personalities, strengths, and needs—building true confidence and a sense of belonging. As one parent shared, “We feel so lucky to have teachers who love what they do and who treat our children like their own.”
Meet Our Educators
TBOP teachers believe children learn best through play, hands-on exploration, and gentle guidance. With a 1:6–1:7 teacher-to-child ratio in preschool classes and at least two teachers in every room, our team can truly personalize learning for each child. Teachers use proven approaches like Conscious Discipline to support social-emotional growth, modeling kindness, respect, and curiosity every day. This patient, attentive care helps every child flourish—academically, emotionally, and socially.
