A Joyful Summer for Preschoolers Ages 2–5
Looking for a summer camp where your preschooler will be safe, active, and smiling all day? Temple Beth Or Preschool’s Summer Camp is the perfect choice for families seeking a fun, enriching, and flexible program for ages 2–5. Open to both current and new families, our camp welcomes all children who turn 2 by August 31. It’s a wonderful way for new families to get a taste of TBOP’s nurturing community—and for returning campers, a place to build memories with old and new friends.
Flexible Options for Busy Summer Schedules
We know families need flexibility! Our summer camp runs from mid-June through early August, with a choice of 9am–1pm (half day) or 9am–4pm (full day), five days a week. Pick and choose your weeks—join us for one or stay all summer. Each week features a new creative theme, so kids stay engaged and every week feels fresh.
Exciting Weekly Themes—A New Adventure Every Week
Every week brings a new theme packed with hands-on activities, music, art, outdoor play, and special events. Recent and upcoming themes include:
- Camping Trip: Nature walks, tent-building, and s’mores (camp style!)
- STEM Week: Science experiments, building, and creative problem-solving
- Under the Sea: Ocean games, water fun, and sea creature crafts
- Animal Planet: Animal mask-making, bug hunts, and imaginative play
- Little Detectives: Scavenger hunts, mystery solving, and teamwork
- Blast Off!: Astronaut dress-up, rocket ship building, and space stories
Each theme includes classic camp fun—dress-up days, arts and crafts, outdoor exploration, and plenty of time for laughter and friendships.
Safe, Nurturing, and Full of Summer Joy
Campers enjoy our private, fenced-in, shaded, and sandy playground, with slides, wagons, and endless room to dig, run, and explore. Water play and outdoor adventures are built into the schedule, weather permitting. Many of the same beloved TBOP teachers lead our camp, ensuring the same warmth, safety, and individual attention families trust all year.
Camp includes a gentle blend of Jewish and universal values: a weekly Shabbat sing-along, kindness stories, and inclusive celebrations. Every child is welcomed, regardless of background—TBOP’s summer camp is truly for everyone.
Age Requirements & Potty Training
Children must be age 2 by August 31 of the camp year to enroll. Not potty trained yet? No problem—our youngest campers are welcome in diapers or pull-ups, and teachers assist with all transitions, just as during the school year. Older campers are grouped with age-appropriate peers for activities and learning.
