Our Teachers
What makes our teachers stand out? Check out what our staff and parents have to say, or better yet – come for a visit and see for yourself!

The majority of our teachers have a college degree in early childhood education or a related field, and have obtained their North Carolina Early Educator Certification. Proper education is important to our school, and our entire staff attend Early Childhood workshops and classes at Project Enlightenment, Wake Tech and NCaeyc.
Several of our teachers and staff have been here for over a decade. We love and take care of our team, and it shows. We have a dedicated roster of teachers who are an integral part of shaping our school and our curriculum. We trust, listen, and honor our teachers and in return, they make this a permanent job assignment. We also have a teacher representative on the preschool board to ensure their voices are heard and valued during decision making processes. Teachers and parents are partners in education. Keeping parents aware of classroom programs and each child’s abilities are essential to our programming. Reinforcing school-day lessons and helping parents with milestone adjustments are just two reasons why the relationship between teacher and parent is so important.
Our ultimate goal is to ensure your children are on track, and to help them establish their strengths. Our teachers send weekly and monthly classroom newsletters, hold twice yearly parent/teacher conferences, and our staff as a whole hold an open-door policy. Our teachers enjoy creating special bonds with each student to encourage them to go through their day confidently and happily. All new students get a home visit from their teacher before they start school to ease the transition to the classroom.
